This event is open to students of all genders

The Mid-Michigan chapter of Graduate Women in Science invites you and your students to attend our 2024 Girls Math and Science Day!

This event is an opportunity for middle school students to work with enthusiastic and knowledgeable scientists at MSU to experience a variety of science fields through activities and demonstrations. Some examples of our past activities include learning to code, extracting DNA from fruit, and using math to study butterflies. We will have:

Organizing volunteers

Things to keep in mind:

  1. Farm lane bridge is closed for cars, avoid the construction area and pay attention to detour signs.

  2. Parking is free for visitors on the weekends. Please see the map below for suggested visitor parkings lots close to the STEM building (39, 62 and 79). For more info click here.
